M.S. Stuff is about, well, M.S. stuff! I’ll be keeping an eye out for news stories, information about new drugs and new gadgets and aides that can help those of us who need a little, or a lot, of help, etc.
I’m 60 years old and was diagnosed with R/R back in 1980. Over those nearly three decades I’ve gone from just gettting a little tired, to walking with a cane, to not wanting to walk more than 2 or 3 city blocks without using a scooter. I still work full-time and travel, domestically and internationally.
I was a participant in the first clinical trial of Avonex and was on the drug for more than ten years. I’ve recently switched to Tybrisi and will be glad to chat with you about my experiences on either.
I’m also in the process of creating the travelgimp blog, designed to share information among travelers with a handicap.
I hope the items that I post on this blog are useful and welcome comments and suggestions.
